Citizen -Voter Education Various CER-member organizations such as:
Center for
Migrant Advocacy (CMA), Center for Youth Advocacy and
Networking (CYAN),
Educational Research and
Developmental Assistance Foundation (ERDA),
First-Time
Voters Coalition (FTV),
Institute for Political and
Electoral Reform (IPER),
Institute for Popular Democracy
(IPD),
Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation
Commission-Association of Major Religious Superiors of
the Philippines, (JPICC-AMRSP),
Kaisahan Tungo sa
Kaunlaran ng Kanayunan at Repormang Agraryo (KAISAHAN),
Kalipunan ng Maliliit na Magniniyog sa Pilipinas (KAMMPIL),
and Sentro ng Alternatibong Lingap Panligal (SALIGAN)
are conducting continuing citizen-voter education among
their respective members and networks using own modules
and
education materials adopted during the
2003 National
Voter Education Summit.
Before the May 2007 elections, IPER and CER were also
invited to give citizen-voter education trainings by
other network organizations such as: Project Development
Institute (PDI), Nagkakaisang Magsasaka sa Gitnang Luzon
(NMGL), Coalition of Services for the Elderly (COSE),
Ilolilo Caucus of Development NGOs (I-CODE), Mindanao
Sustainable Economic Development (MINSED) Foundation in
Cotabato City, and Soroptimist International-San Juan
Chapter.
Several universities and colleges linked up with
CER-IPER and organized citizen-voter educaiton
trainings. These include: University of Luzon,
University of the Cordillera-Baguio (UCB), Tarlac State
University, De La Salle University (DLSU) Taft, DLSU
Greenhills, DLSU-College of Saint Benilde (CSB), Bicol
University (BU), University of the Philippines-Iloilo,
and University of Sourthern Mindanao (USM) in Kabacan,
Cotabato.
Member-schools of the PSNEI also conducted trainings in
the schools and in the community through the National
Services Training Program (NSTP).
