BANTAY ELEKSYON ’07 will hold a press conference
on May 15, 2007, Tuesday at exactly 12 noon in
Max Restaurant, Intramuros near Commission on Elections
main office. It will present to the public its
election observations on the general conduct of the
midterm national and local polls.
Task Force BantayEleksyon ’07 is a coalition of
electoral stakeholders formed by the Consortium on
Electoral Reforms (CER), composed of 22 national
electoral reform organizations. It aims to conduct a
comprehensive monitoring of the overall conduct and
processes of the May 2007 midterm elections which will
center on evaluating the performance of the Commission
on elections and its deputized agencies.
